Some cute wooden houses, yes houses, families live in these
counted 5 people living in one of them at least
Wonder how much extra a lake side view is?
Lake Baikal - an oil train! Huge
So much waisted land seems a shame
Round the edge of Lake Baikal
Round Baikal towards Ulan Ude
we leave the shores of Lake Baikal and the sun comes out - typical!!
The beast still holding up well NOT changed a wheel yet
Liz just could not wait any longer
Towards Ulan Ude!
Getting misty again
Hmm must clean the screen
More standing water
Getting more & more like I imagened Mongolia
Ulan Ude!
Towards the border! - crossing a single file bridge made out of metal
sheets - the water was flowing really fast. But the car that came
towards us managed ok!!!
Hmm should hold our wait after all not eaten much
Looks deep
The old bridge surpose just going to be left to rot
Made it - everywhere is much sandier and so half the road is covered
leaving a single track up the middle.
Beautiful scenery.
Graham trying to take a pic of me having a wee - luckily I'd lost
weight by this point and I've become almost invisible!
